E. POINT AVERAGE SYSTEM:
1. The point average system will involve a draw for the heat race and the use of
a three-week point average for qualifiers. A qualifiers point average will be
based on his/her completed shows. If a competitor fails to start the heat or
feature race that event will not be used in the point average.
2. The number of qualifiers will be determined prior to the heat race.
Qualifiers will be inverted based on point average for the feature race.
Remaining competitors will line-up heads up behind the qualifiers.
3. After opening night when a competitor that is in attendance for the first
time for a regular BMSA event and he/she qualifies he/she will start as the last
qualifier for the feature.
F. MEMBERSHIP: The driver of the car must be a BMSA member to receive
association points. The driver may qualify only one car. In the event of a wreck
during practice the driver will be allowed to qualify another car provided that
the car has not yet been qualified.
G. DRIVER/ENGINE CHANGE: No driver or car changes are allowed after the heat
race. If the driver changes engines between the qualifying event and the feature
event he/she will have to start in the last position in the feature event.
